THAT WAS WAY TOO COOL!!!!

Many of you may know that the Space Shuttle is up there again and just this afternoon hooked-up with the Space Station.

NASA has this really neat WEBSITE where you can see where the Space Station is at any given moment.

Well, last night about 11:30pm, it was passing just north of Lake Superior with the Shuttle doing a tail chase to catch it. Well, I went out on the deck to look for it, and sure enough there it was, moving from the NW to the NE like a bat outta heck. About a minute later, along came the shuttle in pursuit. It was a sight of a lifetime!!

we have been having our two grandkids watch it about every hour to see the updates and all are anticipating the space walk tomorrow

WOW, over 17 THOUSAND miles per hour. now that is wicked fast.

That is a cool site. I remember about 5 yrs ago maybe longer I was watching the shuttle on tv. I was returning from space flight, I just happened to walk outside on the back porch and saw the shuttle pass over my house. By the time I got back in the house to the tv, the shuttle was landing in Florida. That is crazy fast.

All I saw was a tracking map. I guess they're asleep right now.

Unfortunantly the last time we saw the shuttle it looked like this. It sucked!!!
