Texas Wildfires

Are any of you guys near the wildfires in the Texas Hill Country? I've got a cousin who lives near Bastrop and the fires came within 1/2 mile of his house.
Lets all hope and pray that we get some rain soon to put out the fires, make our grass green, and start filling up the lakes.

drove by the Jack county fire when I was down there earlier in the month..
also drove through a big burn by McAlester OK on the way home..

that's some f***ed up shat when you can tell he farmers who have got their disaster payments... they're the one that can afford the fuel to get out in the fields and plow it under..

I have friends who are in Austin and they are biting their nails. I know Bestrop is about 25 to 30 miles to the East.
