Not sure if the title is the right terminolgy but.........(still new to all this). I am asking this for my brother-in-law. He has a 2006 F250. Sometimes he starts his truck and there is nothing lit up where the Ext temp, Auto, Ac cluster is. You can hit any button and nothing will light up or operate. Sometimes he can turn the truck off and then back on again and everything is fine. Sometimes he just has to wait till it just decides to come on. Anyone had this problem, knows what it is or how to fix it? Thanks

My 06 did the same thing 3 or 4 times when it was new, I told the dealer about it, and it hasn't happened in 3 years now. Hope it doesn't start doing it again, because I had forgotten about it. LOL

Is that to say the dealer fixed it but you don't know what they did to fix it? I had similar/recent encounter with no instrument panel, gauges, power windows or cab lights. It happened after I accidently drained the Batt.'s. I thought it was just a fuse problem. No blown fuses, but the relays seemed a little loose. I pushed all fuses and relays back in snug and everything came to life when I started it back up. I guess I fixed it???
