taking my dash off

i am taking my dash appart to install my wires for my subs and was wandering if there might be any tricks to getting it off easy or just take all the bolts out and pull on it... or does it have to come off in pieces

are you aware of the bolts behind the black plastic "accent pieces" going horizontally? You have to pop out those pieces (tension clips that go flying so watch for them and do not lose them or the plastic will not go back on) then unscrew the bolts. You probably know this but just in case....

Besides removing the horizontal plastic pieces which cover the screws, tilt your wheel as far down as it will go for adequate clearance. You will have to put it in a gear besides "park" to do this. If there is dust behind the plastic that covers the gauges, this is a good time to clean it out by removing the star bolts.
