Hey guys I know this is a stupid question; but here goes. Everytime I go around a corner and put the hammer down the rear wheels just hop instead of spin. Whats the deal with this?
Thanks!

or possibly the spider gears inside the diff. unit is damaged not allowing them to work properly. this would in return kind of act like a full spool.

there is other possibilities such as lack of power, body role, etc.

would the fact that my sway bar is disconnected from the axle on one side cause enough body roll to do this?

yes. the sway bars do make a heck of a diff. they suck when going off road but a definite must on road. fix it and try again.

With rear leaf springs you're experiencing axle wrap. That's why old Cameros get "track bars". Check your tire pressures and make sure you don't have a shock going bad.
