Just want to let everyone know at least in New Mexico, F250 S/D are disappearing like UFOs. Right now the stats are like over 30 in the last three months. Not one has been recovered. HMMMMMMMMMM could they be leaving the country? I too fell victim sometime Friday night. Truck is 3 weeks old with 1100 miles, just put new wheels and tires on it a week ago. Truck was locked and they did not bust the glass. My bedroom is right above where my truck was parked. My wife, kids, nor I heard the vehicle start up. So I am guessing they pushed it down the road and started the vehicle or loaded it up on a flat bed. Just a heads up and make people think about buying aftermarket alarms.

No sir, was not even registered in the state yet. Still had a temp tag, was waiting on the title from the bank to register vehicle. It is all white, super cab, Lariat edition, Leather, 17" pro comp wheels with 28570R17 BF Goodrich AT tires, chrome step bars, 20% tint all the way around, and a Phil Long Ford emblem on the tailgate. Plus a NY Yankee front lic plate. What sucks is I drove 5 hours to get this truck now I can not find another 06 like it in NM, CO, or TX so far.

Insurance will cover my wheels and tires since I have the receipt. However they are already saying you know the vehicle has depreciated. I said no **** it depreciated so much it disappeared. How can a vehicle depreciate in 3 weeks. It is bullcrap they say vehicles depreciates in 3 weeks.

did you have gap insurance, which in theory covers the difference between whats its worth and what you owe
but seeing as your dealing with an insurance company........ you have already lost, they take your $$$ but just dont like to payout.

sux your ride got lifted.
they are easy to get into
anywho, stand your ground and get the most for it, have any recent pictures and such . 1100 miles i bet they hit you for a mileage surcharge then give you a value,,,,, was it financed??

when our 5year old fiver got tonadoed they did the same until i wrote i nice leeter with pics and documentation . then i got more than i owed and enough to get a new one

hope it works out.

i've always been told, that when you drive it off the lot, it goes down 2000.00. now, i don't know if thats true or not, i have heard that for at least 10 years or longer

i do believe that it will depr. some, but it should be base on how long you have had it, not just a set amount.:dunno

For anyone who has not delt with USAA insurance. I just found out the hard way. GAP insurance, with USAA only way you can get GAP is finance through them. If not financed with them then they will not put it on your policy.I went through FORD motor credit to get more money off only 1k boy was I stupid, then I was going to refinance at a lower rate with USAA. I can see I am going to take a BIG shot in the wallet on this.

Good news is I found another truck just like mine, waiting for me to buy. Bad news it is 900 miles away and USAA will not even start the process until Aug 14th.
