I have a squeak in the drivers side front that has been getting worse daily (it seems). When we replaced the spring bushings with the poly ones, I made sure we lubed them up to an excess based on some of the complaints others had. I think when we pulled the spring pack out, we changed something in it. When you go over a bump and bounce the front end, it squeaks more than a 57 chev I had when I was a kid.

Other than the springs, is there anything else that would make noise? ball joints, etc...? I checked to make sure the pads were still in the sprint pack but it's got me baffled...Next stop is a spring shop and see what they say but I wanted to give yall first shot...:D

it could be a spring bushing but check your bumper bolts and the nose.you may have a loose body mount or panel causing the squeak.also check the shackle for the front of the springs.on my 450 the bushing was turning inside the top of the shackle and driving me nuts till i ttok the welder to it :D

This is starting to drive me nuts. All of a sudden everything is falling apart...
I'll check it all out again. It's like a flex squeak.

Don't matter how much lube you put on them the poly ones squeak. This is the big downside to poly bushings. Mine seemed to quit squeaking after a few thousand miles :dunno

Guess I better put some more miles on it then and hope...

It's pretty bad when you pull into a parking lot and everyone turns to look at the truck and it's not because of hot it looks ;)

This may sound Hokie but.. I had the Squeaks on my 91. My front end guy told me to jack-up all four corners and spray some lightly watered down liquid soap on >everything<, Bushings, spring seats & sets. Did it. No Squeaks.

Had to do it again now & then depeding on how much water I'd been in but ANYTHING was better than the SQUEAKS.

:dunno
