Something Different..

I recently up-graded All of my 2K and 5r, exterior lighting to LEDs.

On the Dually Fenders I used LEDs by Putco, from Stylin Trucks (Truck Accessories | Pickup Truck Accessories & Truck Performance Parts | Stylin' Trucks) because they were a perfect match (oval shaped) for the OEM fixtures. 3, small LEDs per light.

Hooked them up, turned'm on. 1 LED, in 1 fixture wouldn't light. Called Stylin Trucks, who looked up my order #, who then called Putco. Stylin called back, said Putco was sending me a replacement, at No Cost. Okay by Me.

Yesterday UPS drops off a package from Putco.. Inside is a COMPLETE SET of >4<, LED Dually Fender lights.

REALLY Okay by Me.. I now have Spares

A Vendor & Supplier that stood behind their product.. At more than a Minimal Level..With NO Hassle. I wasn't on the phone more than 2 minutes, with the whole issue.

Putco is a great outfit. My buddy actually works for them and they stand behind their products 100%. I really enjoy dealing with them. They are definitely coming up with some cool new stuff too. I'm ordering LEDs for all of our trailers!

How do you like the interior LEDs? I was lookin into buying some of thoses. Does it come with the front and the rear or just the front lights? That is awsome that they took care of you so quick and showed you a little love for the mess up.

FWIW ? Heres what I've done..

Between Super Bright LEDs, Stylin Trucks/Putco (all are .com).. I converted the whole truck exterior-wise. All are Smoked lenses. Turn/Stops are 3157, 3 watt Lexeon LEDs, Cab markers are 5 LED 194s..(4 horizontal, 1 Vert.).

The rest are all Putco. 1 kit/set is.. 2 Amber & 2 Red. I ordered 3 sets.

Put 2 ambers on each Dually fender. 1 amber below each F-350, PSD badge.. wired into the front turn sigs.

Removed the OEM rear, (3) lite bar, replaced those (and the bar) with 3 of the Red Putco LEDs. (Flush Fit. I like Flush Fit) Measured the distance between the inner & outer Cab lights and mounted a Putco Red LED.. that same distance away from the 3 center rears. Already had a Recon, LED 3rd brake light.... Purdy well Lit up now.



Wife said.. Better Ease Up'r yer trucks guna look like a "Taco" Truck

Put Clear Festoon LED in the Dome light.. Whata Diff.

On the 5r ? replaced all the markers with LED markers from WalMart. 1157 3 watt Lexeon turn/stops from Super Bright.
