Someone wounded the Beast!

I was on the way home Sunday when I had to stop for an errand at the local Wally World. Got the stuff that I needed, drove home and noticed when I got out of the truck some sneaking lowdown dirty bastage turned a bit wide when driving into the adjacent parking space, they put a six inch crease in the side of the truck bed, clipped the bumper and tore up the left step pad. Didn't even leave a note.

So it is $250 out of my pocket, with Nationwide picking up the rest of the nearly $700 repair bill. If I put a scratch or dent in the truck, I get mad at me. I get REALLY mad if someone ELSE does it and leaves the scene of the crime. GRRRRR.-mad

some numb skull put a dent in my bumper guard. made me so sick to look at it, i took it off.

hope it all goes back together without lookin like anything ever happened to it.

I NEVER take my truck to any mall or parking lot... My wife's explorer has many shopping wounds. There are many people who care less about others property, and have a double digit iq.
You have struck a nerve here... I go ballastic when I see some fat 300 pound welfare mama, throwing open her door into the next car, and waddling off with no concern for the other person's property. I have seen this happen more than once. Normally the womans car is a 1960ish tuna boat, that might be worth $100. so when you leave her license plate number on the car that was dinged, that person would have no chance of getting their car fixed from the welfare mama.
Now I have to take another blood pressure pill....-mad

yeah deffintely hate that, it has happened to me too, just not as bad and not on this truck yet(knock on wood)...but i did have a guy through his cigarette butt on my hood of my truck and rolled into the cowl screen while sitting at the stop light.... ....didn`t even offer to take it off...some people don`t have any respect....

The really ticks me off. If I take the truck to the mall I park in the back 40 far from others. Then you get some rocket scientist that feels the need to park next to me when there are 10 empty spaces around me. Keith

This is ONE of the reasons i am lifted now - currently at 12" on 39.5" tires - folks might be able to damage my bumpers or running boards. Soon though, i will be going up another 6" on 46" tires. This will pretty much keep me in the clear from almost any DumbSh*t with a driver's license for some OLD fart that does not need to be on the road...

We're always on edge about going shopping and having to leave the truck in a wide open parking lot to get hit,broken into or otherwise molested in a fashion not approved upon by respectful people.

I'm like ktpauley. I drop off the wife, and then go away from the close spots. And yes, some idiot manages to park near me despite the fact that I am a full 2 city blocks from the store!!!!
