Solar Energy Systems arrive in Home Depot

Was reading USA Today and caught an article about how Home Depot is carrying Solar Energy systems for the home,I've always had an eye on owning my own so we could save money on energy bills

I know they do cost a little bit up front but the savings start after it comes online.

Its not an act Richard, its the real deal and its what I have been saying all along....... Hate big oil/big energy all you want but who do you think will be providing the bulk of the technology and resources for our future fuels and energy sources?

they have, for YEARS, been doing this research ! one of their big
solar think tanks fronts i70 in frederick maryland...its been there
more the 30years !

they recently announced a plan to sink another $96M into the

It just leaves one to wonder if the costs are "recoverable" over a 30 year period or if one sells his home.

You young guys should look into solar, or wind generators. Us older guys do not have the time left to break even. On the newest solar systems, they say the break even period is 15 to 20 years. All this data depends on you living in a place like Arizona, where you have lots of sun most of the year.
