I have a 04 250 PSD and it has starting to skip/popping noise when I go uphill.

Here's a Recent Thread that might help some
so heres the #1 question...you got guages ? whats the boost guage
doing ? wheres the EGT ? is it feeling under powered & slow to respond...
then while under acceleration it bucks/pops ???
are you towing ? is it happening only under tow/heavy load ?
got any codes ? (i bet you got egr codes).
try this (1 locate the egr), 2 turn the truck off, 3 disconnect the egr and
drive it...does it still buck & pop...if not then replace the egr valve,
other wise it COULD be the vgt vanes sticking (but i doubt it)
