signal lense

2005 f350 king ranch, have a cracked signal lense on my outer mirror. can they simply be popped out and replaced or do u actually have to go inside the mirror to work on it. The light is working fine just need info on the plastic lense. Thanks for any imformation

This is my first post to this forum im sure someone has to know how to replace/install these lenses. Thanks again

I think you have to pop the black piece off the back of the mirror first... If I remember correctly... you'll see were you can get a screw driver in there or a knife.. I don't think it took much... it's kinda like the door panels... I think there are 3 little spots that hold it on.. you'll see.. just take your time and don't force things.. you should be fine... once you have that piece off you'll see how the signal lenses omes out...


I don't know if you can replace just the plastic piece.. you might have to buy the whole contraption...

visit recon.com. they have clear or smoked replacement lenses with installation instructions. Plus they are cheaper than buyin from your dealership.

yeah the tabs to remove the cover are behind the mirror its frustrating while yer doing it. I went with the smoked recon lenses.

i also had the smoked lenses from recon on my 03.. i loved them.. idk how they would look on a king ranch though?
