Shocks

is there a difference in the shocks from the XLT to the Lariat..I have an 03 XLT..and that thing will beat ya to death..its great if you have a truck full of big chested women..haha..but jus alittle to stiff..I believe they are stock shocks..a friend has an 04 lariat and it is smooth...nothing like mine..both of our trucks are CCSB 4X2...jus different trim levels..any suggestions on a good shock for the superduty...thanks for any information..

Bilstein shocks are the answer. I put them on my'04 and the ride smoothed up instantly. I know they cost more, but they are worth it and they have a life time warranty.
