Any have any feedback on what I can expect from "ProComp ES 9000" shocks. Truck has 65K on it. I will be replacing Ball Joints, Brakes, shocks & sway arm bushings next chance I get.

Thanks

Dad says it was night and day. I went with the ES1000 low budget shocks and noticed a little difference over my factory shocks that had 67K on them

I had ES9000's on my 97, I HATED them! They made it ride really rough, rougher than it was with the stock shocks. I took them off, and put on Rancho RS9000's. It was like night and day. I'd suggest Bilstein 5100's, if you want the best, they ride AWESOME!:thumbs

I am running them on mine.... cause they were cheap.... but you know the saying you get what you pay for.... I was thinking of running a set of the RS9000's or Bilsteins but that is a lot of money... I was also thinking of running dual ES9000's on all 4 corners to see what happens...

TBAR, let us know what you think.....

I need a stiffer ride, I pull 7-10K 90% of the time. the stock ranchos are too loose for my purposes. So, anything stiffer than that will be great.:sweet

You probably want to get an add a leaf for the rear if you are looking for a stiffer ride... the shocks probably wont make a difference with that kind of weight... an AIRLIFT system would work well also

rides like new again...

Did the ball joints, shocks, sway arm bushings, brakes & steering damper over the weekend. I feel like I'm driving an 06 now. :thumbs I don't really have a good shock reference for comparison since the front shocks were completely blown out, but the Procomp9000 feels good to me. I may just have the "anything is better than stock syndrome" I was ready to try the steering gear box adjustment but no need since I did the other work. She goes straight as an arrow now. :D
