serpentine update

Quick update on serpentine belt. Dealer replaced serpentine belt and said they could not find any problems with the pulleys or tensioner! I guess maybe a bad belt?? Thanks for all your comments and input on this issue! I need to find a good Extended warranty now! Only 32k on truck but over 3 years since I purchased it so warranty is done. Any suggestions on warranty would be greatly appreciated! Thanks again!

Your drivetrain is covered for 5 years 100K, the belt falls under normal maintenance, and I wouldn't worry about little stuff like that for warranty anyway. Put a spare cps in the glove box along with a 10mm wrench or socket. Now that you have a new belt buy another and a 1/2" break over bar to keep in the truck. Buy some spare hoses, change them and put the old ones in the truck too.
