Is there an easy way to change the serpentine belt on the '03 7.3? I see they put the radiator hose right through the middle of the belt.

No. Sorry. Go to the parts store and ask for an upper radiator hose for a truck with dual alternators. Pull off your old hose and replace it. Then install the new belt. The new hose will go out and around the belt. If you just below the alt. there is a notch in the bracket that the hose will fit into. Get a hose clamp and cut a small section of your old hose for chafe prtection and clamp it to the bracket. There is even a groove on the back of the bracket for the hose clamp.

get a buddy to help
have him whip the hose on and off as you pass the belt around it.

Any specific truck with dual alternators? I would assume you mean a ford truck but I want to make sure. Any pictures of a truck with this already done to it so I have an idea on what it should look like?

Like said you have to disco the thru upper radiator hose which is one of Ford's better ideas:whah

Gotta drain down the radiator about a gallon or so via the petcock on the bottom left hand side of the radiator into clean bucket.

Use a 1/2" drive breaker bar on the belt tensioner to release the belt.

Here's a THREAD listing all the part numbers :sweet
