Just wonder today when I was driving home past a buddy on the road and he hit his brakes and I hit mine. I was still on the throttle and at 1500 RPMs, but when I hit the brakes not really applied any pressure, just enough to make the brake lights come on. The engine RPMs went to 2000, then when I let the brake off it went back to normal 1500.
I have a chip in the truck and was wondering if this was normal has anybody else had this happen to them.
