Hey guys,

i have my truck in the stealership today, and they just called me and told me that 2 of my reverse sensors are bad. they quoted me a price of $110 each. Is there any aftermarket place i can get these things? That just sounds awfully steep

surely you can buy the parts other places...ebay <worst case> and there
are several dealers/web-retailers here

gotta ask what you took it in for...and will they charge you a diag. fee
if you dont let 'em fix it ?

I took it in for the reverse sensor, power window was actin up, and the fuel gauge is not workin right. i would normally do this myself, but ive got an extended warranty so im taking advantage of it. warranty covers 1 hr. of diagnosis time so i should be ok. but if the warranty wont pay for the reverse sensors, ill search elsewhere. i have a feeling the warranty company is gonna give me trouble with the fuel gauge becuase its going to require the removal of the dash, and "interior trim" is not covered in the warranty. I'm seeing an argument coming:rant
