I am getting ready to replace one of my front wheel bearing/hub assemblies. What are my chances of getting the 4 studs that attach the assembly out? Just curious if others have been able to get them out.

Thanks

sometime they come out easly, sometimes they don`t....when i did my ball joints they all came out no problem, so i cleaned the threads and and reinstalled them with some loctite....if you have a problems, just heat them up
a bit and they should come out....hope this helps....

i know some have just replaced them when they installed there new hub/bearing assembly....

All you have to do is double nut them and they should walk right out. At least that's how I did them on the side of the road.

Thanks for all the replies! It sounds like if I want to play it safe I should have the studs on hand.

I am new to this site and you folks sure seem helpful.

I guess I got so luck because the brakes were dragging and creating an intense amount of heat, kind of like a built in torch.:lmao

I replaced the hub today and used new studs. I was able to easily take out the old ones though. I will save them for when I do the other side someday. Thanks again for the input.
