Has anyone relocated their driver side battery and if so where did you move it too? I am trying to figure out a way to get more fresh air to my filter and removing the battery seems like the place to start so I can get some ducting in there with fresh cooler air. Also what does IIRC stand for or mean?:dunno
Thanks,
Craig

Cool,
I just wanted to check before I did it. Would hate to discover our trucks are perfectly balanced and by relocating the batteries I threw off the CG (center of gravity) and have the truck tip over.:roflmao :roflmao :roflmao

I forget who it is---{dang CRS:D } but they have two Optima Yellow tops mounted on the pass side frame rail, side by each and rotated 90 deg for access to the terminals.

pretty good testemonial for the "mount in any position" Optimas:sweet

What would be awesome is if Ferd would re-instate the pass side tool box doors of the late 60's early 70's.

Of course some sheetmetal whiz could prolly come up with a die set for the rib strength and fab the cover:hail
Then you could mount both batts rightside up on a slide/swing out carrier:cool:

The new Toyota or Nissan has that on their bed. I too would love to see that come back.
