When ever I put the truck in drive or reverse I get a clunk noise coming from the rear end and I was wondering If you guys would know what this is. The truck is 1997 f-250 with a 7.3
as 4.10s. Only does it when your stopped and shifting from park to reverse or drive to reverse. Or reverse to drive.

think I figured it. I jacked the rear end up off the ground the wheel was about to fall off the studs cut notches in the wheel so the tire moves an inch before the truck moves. Question is How do I get the wheel studs off after I have the drum off?

getting the old ones out isn't a big deal..
getting the new ones IN without stretching them is...
Mac Tools makes an installer for them... pulls them through without galling the threads or the hub flange..
