Here's a Quik'n Easy one with No Fabrication involved:
Most Home Improvement stores carry a line of Eve/crawl space vents, in various sizes. They're made Galvanized sheet metal with 1/4" screening (my preference).
1. Select the vent size that suits your fancy, but will fit the space available on your truck. (Paint it your color ?)
2. Use the Vent flange to mark the opening to be cut.
3. Cut the opening out. (a Dremel works Great)
4. Pre-drill 1/8" holes around the edge of the vent frame ( I do 3 down each side, 2 on the top & bottom)
5. Insert the Vent into the opening and with self-tapping screws.. sinch'r down. (go slow with the screws so as not to strip'm out)
