Well I've been workin on this pod on & off for 6 months.I couldn't find a guage pod like what I imagined and after posting on it I got good advice from GarbageMechanic and STurbo90. I took GB advice of make it yourself and followed STurbos lead on his pod he made out of fiberglass.I am by no means a fiberglass expert but luckily my dad (who use to do alot of fiberglass work on cars and planes)caught me making a mess and guided me in the right direction.I am a carpenter by trade so I started with 2 pieces of 2x6 stacked together. After several passes thru the table saw I got my bevel on the back side.Alot of finish sanding and rounding and I had a mold.Following STurbos steps I covered the mold with maskintape and started layin on the glass. This is where my dad stepped in and got me going right. After about 3 coats I removed my pod from the mold.On and off I worked on it finishing slowly.I figure I have about 8 hours in it.My time is limited after work and on weekends so I still haven't reconnected the pyro's.The pressure guage is for my on board air which is also still in the works.About 90% complete. To see the pod click on GUAGEPOD in my sig.I appreciate all responces good or bad.
