I can hear the turbo top pitch better from the driver side now.

BE aware it took me a solid 3 hours with goo gone and goof off before I could get that JUNK off.

After reading many posts it was put there to quiet down the turbo on later models..

Once I got it off and the truck warmed up, at 2300 rpm the turbo was much easier to hear over the rough truck noise Im used to.

i did that a few months ago, when i had plans on Thermal Wrapping the pipes. never got around to it, and now i have two naked pipes. however i did not notice any difference in sound. it does look nicer, smoother i think. i used gasoline to help get the gluey crap off. MAN that does not come off easy at all!
