I have the same setup and I think I used 976 which seems be correct (based on the highway mile markers over a distance of over twenty miles ... its within a tenth of a mile over that distance). This was a code from a stock F350 4x4 (235 tires). This code was between the one I calculated using ten revolutions of the actual tires while on the truck and one using data from BF Goodrich (I'm running the KO's). The rear axle ratio does not enter into the calibration code on these trucks. Hope that helps! Cheers!
Hopefully the 796 you stated is a typoand not what you input! The milage doesn't sound right and since I have a 5-speed, my RPMs will be around 2500 at 70 mph. After changing mine, I used the markers over 20 miles and the odometer agreed within 1/10 mile. Cheers!
