Our movers won't transport the tanks to the grill and turkey fryer. Can I transport them on thier side or do I have to leave them upright? They will only be on their side for 6 days at the most.

You can transport them on their sides but it is illegal. They are suppose to be transported upright and chained to a rack. The only reason I know is I have been nailed for it before. Insecure/ unsafe load was the ticket I got.

Transport 'em in the bed of your truck...tie 'em down...vertical or horizontal
doesnt matter. I hauled 3 20lb cyl & and argon tank 1400 miles when
we moved to houston...didnt have a problem.

You will be fine. Agree that they have to be transported upright as well here as there is a guy down the road that has a speacial trailer for 20lb tanks, but you will be fine. Nothing is going to happen and even if someone saw it is not like you are transfering nuclear waste :) haha. those tanks are tough as nails :) and nothing is going to happen to it on its own....it is just liqued in a metal tank.

I got multiple Propane and unleaded gas cans because my brothers movers would not transport them. :D
