I got my new exhaust for the truck. Tried installing it w/no luck. I've got the down pipe in but where it meets to the mid pipe it just doesn't want to connect. It seems that the down pipe is too long or one of the pipes is bent wrong or something. Anybody got any suggestions, am I supposed to have to trim the down pipe or mid pipe. The pinch weld has been cut and rolled back flush w/ the body and still seems like not enough room.

In case anyone is interested I came to a conclusion on the install. I talked w/ Mbrp and xtremedutydiesel and they both were not very familiar with the 94 year model stroker. Neither company's said this was a common problem with the exhaust system nor had they heard my problem before. Xtreme duty diesel tech and I came to conclusion that the problem was the crossmember on my 94 and the fact that mine was a manual. So what I did was remove trans crossmember and installed the exhaust. However, it was necessary to leave the top brace off the crossmember on the passenger side. It is a very tight fit but it does work. I might add that it sounds awesome I am a very pleased customer:thumbs
