My vehicle is a 2006 drw cc lwb. When I turn off my climate control the screen turns off but the blower motor turns on high and blows out the defroster vents. Has anyone seen this before. Before I go to the dealer just wondering if anyone has any ideas. I already checked all vacuum lines and dont see any disconnected. Thanks for any help.

my 03 used to do this... i think i remember it being a vaccum problem and also caused problems with the 4 wheel drive... i know that sounds crazy but i remember them being related somehow.... it has somthing to do with the vaccum lines... maybe.. hopefully someone will help out

If you have ESOF (Electronic Shift -on-the-Fly), that uses vacuum for the hubs. There is a vacuum hose going to each front hub and when they get damaged or cut, the AC system does strange things. All vacuum caused. Check your vacuum lines.
