I need to get a new Power Steering pump for my 42' GPW but the GPW did not come from the factory with power steering.

I suppose there may be numbers on it if I pull it? I do have this picture. Look familiar to anyone? I also need a steering box but can't find any numbers on it, just a big S on the top.

Note to self - If you build something with salvage yard parts make notes as to what the parts came off of. 20 years later you may forget

The pump is probably a standard Chevelle or Chevy II part off of any motor. I think the pumps were all the same. Different mounts for the different motors. I used a Chevelle (1968 I think) steering box on my CJ-2A. It is the same frame as the MB if you have the frame horn mounted box. Any 'B' bodied frame will work (Le Mans, Cutlass, etc) for the steering. You are taking me way back, Crumm...
