power steering pump front seal

The front seal on a power steering pump, is it real easy to change? I was wondering if I just pull the pulley back off, if that thing on the front over the shaft that looks like a cap was the seal? I just put in a rebuilt and the front seal weaps a bit. I would prefer not to remove and return the whole thing if i can. BUT i WILL if need be.

best to do just that.
you'll void the warranty if you screw with it yourself, so you'll be bonked if the shaft breaks in three months...
