I'm getting ready to replace the steering gear with one from Redhead. I talked to a buddy who used to manage a NAPA store in the Seattle area for many years if Redheads were any good. His respose was "oh yea, they're damned good units".
So when I embark on this project, I'm gonna flush the fluid and install a Magnefine filter in the return line. But the Magnefine filters are available with different sized hose fittings. One needs to know which filter with the right sized hose barbs that have to be ordered. So what I'm wondering is if anybody has messed with the cooler lines and knows what size they are. I'd like to find out if I can do so without slicing a hose before I'm ready to do it for real. I'm guessing 3/8" right now. Thanks
