Anyone installed a fuel filter setup "post pump"? I observed on ITP's site that he has a stock fuel filter/bowl delete kit available soon but he recommends a post pump filter.

Not sure if I need a 2 micron filter before and after the fuel pump:confused:

I've given a lot of thought to this. Especially last week when I was having to replace an HPOP line. With the Stealth, the elimination of the bowl would be great!

I have a Racor filter tagged in the catalog at work. As a post pump whatever you use has to withstand 70psi at least. When I do it I plan on running a #6 teflon with SS braid hose from the filter to the engine into the junction block. Tying into the frame rail line would take some hose rounting that would be turbulent in my mind. I have a 2 micron pre-pump so I will prolly go 10 post, not sure yet. I just want it to catch any trash if the pump grenades.

As for the AirDog, it's made to be on the vacuum side. The new FASS high pressure systems are different but they also elminate the stock pump. The original FASS systems go pre-pump.

I have thought about this in the past............my thinking would be a 10 or 30 micron prepump and a 2 micron post pump. (Stock config is just a course screen in the tank so anything is better than that)

With this configuration there would be less vacuum prepump that might release entrained air in the fuel.
