Howdy All,
Finished with the brakes (Thanks Rick and PwrBtr) and now moving on to the recently arrived Prothane bushings (thanks Jeffrey) for the cab and front suspension. Any suggestions for an easier installation and tips or tricks before I start? Is this a one person or two person job?
And lastly bear with me while I list what we (me, my wife and all of you who gave advice and suggestions) have accomplished so far this summer on the truck.
1) New windshield (A co. did it)
2) Rubber floor mat for entire CC (we did it)
3) New Headliner (we did it)
4) Amber cablights (we did it, hardest part was getting up courage to drill holes in the roof)
5) Cat & muffler gone, just a straight pipe (we did it)
6) Hard wired in power outlet for back seat DVD player (we did it)
7) Hard wired in cell phone charger (we did it)
8) Rear Brakes (we did it)
9) Replaced driver side window controller (we did it)
10) Repainted black dash piece and other black pieces (we did it)
11) Hard wired in a nice bright light in the tool bin (once again we did it)
12) Trailer/tow lights (same as above)
13) Started using B100 (ditto)
14) Repaired window gears in rear passenger door(same story)

So if any of y'all ever wonder how much you help someone out, the list above should give ya' an idea. So please accecpt a BIG TEXAS THANK YOU:thumbs :tex :thumbs from my wife and I!

first,it nice to see another one with a wife that likes moddings the truck, just watch out she will be wanting one to mod for her self.stuff like hot pink IC pipes will be in her future:D

when i did my burshing.i did have a budy come over to help (just in case)but i think me and the wife could of done them.you might want to get some body bolts.just to be safe my front 2 broke off on me.
on the front washerthings i cut the bolt off them and reused them (you will see what i mean when you get them off)on the cab bolts they came right out with a inpack.then i used a 25/32 drill bit and drill down though the bushing tell the bottom came loose.you don't have to jack the body up that high to get them out or back in.do one at a time so you keep the body line straight.
its not all that hard.
good luck
