Those of you that know Elk River know where I was this weekend. Those that do not, well, it is at the END of the 52 mile long state road, which, other than logging tracks and 48" 2-track 4-wheeler/snowmobile trails, is the only road in or out of town. It is isolated, to say the very least.
The ride was 42 miles, the wife and I put the new camper on the pickup and camped on a friend's property down there friday night. Towed the quads down on the flatbed.
The Polaris wouldn't start saturday morning. Apparently, the rough roads on the way out knocked a plate loose in the battery, resulting in a dead short. Glad it happened then instead of 25 miles into the ride!!!
SO, the wife and I rode double on the Grizz. It was kind of fun, but I didn't get to try to kill myself like I normally do, so it got a little boring. Rained like crazy, so the mud was goooooood!
I guess the purpose of this post was to eventually get around to thanking you guys that helped me get my truck set up fr the new camper. Everything worked flawlessly, and it is because of the diagrams and advise and screenshots you all s ent me, so THANKS!!!
