A co-worker just purchased a 95 dually with the 7.3 turbo, I havent seen it yet. however it onlyhas 85k miles on it and he says it looks brand new
does the fw-15 additive can be eliminated if he flushes and refills with the gold coolant, or should he keep adding the fw-15 additive.
I cant rememeber.....:sorry

It is not recommended by Ford but some guys do. I use CAT elc and have for about 6 or 7 years without any trouble.

Boater, there is probably no more touchy subject than the anti-freeze question....I'm with Crumm, I have used the CAT exended life for more than 150,000 miles with ABSOLUTLEY no problems from my original waterpump.....If it goes out tomorrow that means it ran for 197,000...... good enuff for me:sweet

Cat will tell you not to use their ELC in the powerstroke due to the copper in the system including the radiator and the injector cups. however as you can see if it is indeed a problem it's not immediate. Keeping in mind that cat is making recommendations for millions of miles.

If he's up for the bling then go evans.
