Glad you are looking for info from those with first hand knowledge!
I'm running single IPR at the moment with no problems after lifting the throttle. Jody programmed for it though. I had to run the pumps with my old Edge Evo and RPMs would dip after lifting when coming to a stop but never died. The DI chip that
isn't prgrammed for "oil" had problems with it stalling on lift and I didn't have to be on it hard for it to do it. It flat out died several times.
When I talked to Jody about IPRs he said he can program for 1 or 2 but he had talked to someone with hyrdraulics background and to his knowledge the single IPR could not dump the flow needed with 2 pumps. I will eventually run 2 IPRs when I can get around to it.
The person I bought my Stealth from went with a Terminator pump and he had a problem with the stalling on both a DI and DP chip. Don't know if he got it figured out since now he's blown a head gasket. It's an OBS truck if that matters.
The BTS oil truck I rode in didn't have a stalling problem and that was back before the "oil" craze and had some of the first "oil" programming. BTS uses 2 IPRs.
As far as hoses, my high pressure hoses are 2 drivers side stock hoses. I don't worry about them failing any more than any other PSD should. I don't worry about the steel balance tube or low pressure supply hose rupturing at all.
