Paul Newman died Friday evening in Westport, Conn. He was 83 years old. He died from a long battle from cancer. He will be missed.

Oh, too live a life as long and productive, filled with good works as his. I hope that I have that much influence for good in my life.
Sad to have heard of his passing this AM.
Mr. Newman was a Good Man, Person and True American. Not known by his persona, but by his virtues. Low key, but never the less.. Involved in many good things.

He will be missed in the acting world, I didnt agree with his views but I enjoyed his work.

He was one of the best. Did anyone ever see the movie "Blaze" when he played LA Governor Earl Long? It wasn't one of his best movies, but was really funny. Strange thing is, a good bit of the movie was made in Winnfield, LA (my hometown) which has a church on almost every corner, but when the movie came out, it was rated "R". I liked the scene when he couldn't start his lawn mower, so he shot it with his shotgun.
