I have an '09 F-350 CC. A couple weeks ago the front passenger side window quit working. A couple days ago it worked for a short time then quit again. It won't work from either the drivers side or passenger side controls. All the other windows work fine. Anyone know of an issue like this or where would be a good place to start looking?

most likely the lift motor..
pop the trim panel off real quick, plug the switch back in, rap the motor a couple times with a diagnostic hammer..

Thanks JL,
How difficult is it to remove the panels on these newer trucks? I haven't had to do it since I owned my '66 Chevelle! Any trick or tool to it so I don't break any of the tabs or whatever is holding it in?

THanks JL,

Got the panel off a little while ago....alot easier then the old days. I've been doing some troubleshooting since then. When I "lift" the control to raise the window I get 12VDC across the connector that plugs into the motor. When I push it down to lower the window I get no voltage across the connector. I've taken the panel off the RR door also. First I suspected the switch but I swapped the one from the rear door to the front door (the rear door window works fine). Still would not go down so I don't suspect the switch. I've ohm'd out from the connector that plugs into the switch to the connector that plugs into the motor and both wires ohm out fine. I don't suspect a problem with the motor since I'm not getting voltage to it to lower the window. I'm stumped....I wish I had a wiring diagram (show me a picture) so I could see what's actually supposed to be happening. I'm an electronic technician so I have a fair grasp of troubleshooting but this one should be fairly straight forward but???????

Just a little more info..... I have a 12VDC power supply and I used it to apply power to the contacts of the connector that plugs into the switch. I can reverse the voltage and make the window go up and down so I know everything from that connector is good. Is there some tie in with the switch on the drivers side?
