Hello,
I am new to the forum, but have had my truck for a few years. Its a 99 f-350 CC duallie 4x4. Absolutely love it. I had some time this year to play with the truck seeing as my bike is done. I ordered a 4 pos. DP tuner chip (high idle, 60tow, 80econ, 100) Alos have an air intake and BTM muffler coming. I will be ordering the triple guages before its all installed. With all the reading I have done lately, a shift kit is recomended(if so, which is a good one---sonnax?)? It appears a full valve body is better if money allows. I am heading down to Bike Week in Daytona again this year, and would like to have it set up nicely. I am not looking to build a rocket ship that will outrun anything around. My scoot is my main toy. Is the set-up that I will have nicely rounded to not do damage and still provide extra ponies and a wider smile? I am sure I will have more questions as time passes. Thanks in advance for any insight.

At a minimum I'd strongly recommend the Sonnax and Tricumulator Springs. That combination will make your 4R100 shift both faster and firmer.............less heat and clutch wear.

Prolly one of the best PM's you can do for your tranny along with a good filter and fluid change.

Follow the link in Crumm's post above to a good install article.

Thanks guys, I will be ordering the sonnax, looks simple enough to install. I will be changing the filter anyway before the Daytona run. So that wil kill 2 birds with one stone. I look foward to tapping into everyones expertise, and I am sure some of the sponsors will love taking my hard earned money. Its an endless circle isnt it.

I did scar13's sonnax in under 25 minutes yesterday, that inluded putting the filter back on, and topping off fluid. That was my 4th install. Bryan
