been talking to bill about this and he said to go ahead and post it to get everyone's opinions.

my wheel and tire set up is currently stock 5 hole lariat wheels on 265/75R/16

i would like to go with the 18 inch king ranch/harley davidson 18's like the ones in the pic below, that were on the 2004 models.

a few questions.
1. will my overall ride height increase (towing reasons)
2. will they fit (i believe so)
3. would you stay with the goodyear wrangler ATS tires
4. or go with a diff. tire altogether (would need a long lasting tire, 50k+)

any and all feedback will be greatly appreciate.

also, does anybody know someone who might have a set of these wheels for sell (really interested in wheels only, so i can put my own choice of tires on)

thanks fellas.

The 225/75 R19.5 's are not much larger than 235 or 265 /16's
I thought about the dually 19.5's for mine, but spent enough on this truck already:eek:

Stephen, the problem with the 18"s is a poor choice of tire selection, Continentials (don't go there), Toyo AT (not sold on those either), or Goodyear Silent Armor (haven't investigated those too much)

Michellin is supposed to be coming out with an 18 in mid 2007 in the AT series and by the end of 2007 the LTX series will out, at least that's what I was told by Michellin.

Goodyear Silent Armor is a good choice, but they're hard to get. I found a set of 325/60R18 E's but they're like a hundred bucks a tire more than the 275's

-edited for typo in the size-

as far as I can tell from the picture posted, the tire on that is an AT/S, and yes, it's crap.

The Silent Armor is a completely new product, and by golly, them's tires.
