Anybody have any tips on replacing the hp oil line to drivers side from hpop to head?
fair amount of oil down the back of the valley, seems to have originated at the head side of the line right between the head and fitting. Being in a big E van it aint gonna be easy! Already torn into it and removed all the stuff I can as in the air tubes to the turbo etc. just to try to locate the leak. i did pickup a removal tool from Difusser as well as some O rings for the pump just in case.
Any thoughts would be real helpful.
PS Anybody looking for cam sensors, try the dealer, seems they decided to lower the price. Picked one up for 30 bucks when I got my hp line.

i ordered a tool from pure diesel power. if you have any die grinders, use the tool it comes with to remove the bits. that is what i started with. ordered the actual tool so if there is a next time, ill have the right stuff. if your handy with metal, get some 1/8 inch steel and make one. i didnt want to spend that much time so i modified my die grinder tool.

oh, press down on the line, use the tool and then pull up. seems to work better that way. i also sprayed cleaner all around the connector just in case any dirt got in there and is causing the release not to release.

thanks, got that tool from difusser now that I see it it would have been pretty simple to knock out. I assume it just slides over the end to facilitate removal and installation with firm pressure?
