Howdy All,
Now that the semester is over I will be fixing my leaking oil cooler. Before I do though, I was wondering if there was a way to replace the stock cooler and relocate it somewhere else like the front of the truck. I have a hard time believing that it does that good of a job tucked up next to the block. I checked WIKI but didn't find anything.
Thanks for any info,
Craig

The cooler is NOT an air exchanger. It uses engine coolant to exchange oil heat.
The way it bolts to the engine fixtures, it would be a MAJOR if not impossible operation to move it. They work great the way they are designed I would not recommend relocating.
You will see what I mean when you take it off the engine.
