so what was momma alligators name? did yall dance? think about LUNCH maybe
That encounter was kinda funny, as the wife was walking on down the trail I half jokingly said "Look out for 'gators" I got "The Look", well I was composing a shot and heard a couple of grunts, could not see where it was coming from so I stepped a little closer to the pond and looked down and all I saw at first was what looked like a log, then it blinked
After a few minutes of just standing there and watching mamma gator seemed to be ok with my presence, even with me being in very close proximity to the young uns, then another couple came down the trail and that set mamma off, the look in her eye at that point told me 1 was ok but 3 humans was a problem, fortunately the other couple sorta became a little worried and scurried on away, like back to their car
Mamma went back to posing and the little ones (didn't get a shot of them dangit) scurried all over the place even coming up the embankment to check me out at a distance all the while mamma was keeping a close eye on the goings on.
Never did see daddy gator but that's probably just as well
