OBD2 protocol

Hello im sure that this has been covered before but i couldnt find it. I am wondering if anybody knows what the obd2 protocol is for a 2002 7.3. THanks

Welcome to the site.

Unfortunately the PSD is not a standard OBDII configuration or communication protocol Due to the fact that the legislation creating the OBDII standard had a weight requirement designed to catch passenger vehicles and all of our trucks are over that weight threshold (it's the same GVW as the mileage estimates)

In general it is a variation of SAE J1850 PWM standard

Our trucks use the CAN protocol and that is a standard.
