How do I have the coolant "charge" or whatever the term is checked?
What is diesel lubrcation additive and why does the manual say not to use additives in the diesel?

Thanks all

As said, you can go to NAPA and get a kit, I believe if you ask at NAPA they might look at you kinda funny. The PN# is referenced in the filter section of their system and not the coolant sections. So, unless the guy behind the counter has sold one before, he will be lost.

You can go to your local "big truck shop" (IH, Freightliner, Pete etc etc) and ask for some Fleetguard test strips. They will know exactly what you are looking for.

If its out of spec you need to add some SCA/DCA. Motorcraft carries some called FW-16 and Fleetgurad carries some called DCA-4. Both are approved for use int the PSD.

On my last flush I went with Fleet Charge with the SCA added already.
