Hi There. This is my first post on this site so here goes.I have a 03 Super Duty F250 6.0 with work truck configuration, non power windows and doors etc.I have a door lock that isn't working on pass side,I removed door panel to check it out and found that there are power door lock actuators there already!
What do I need to get them to work?Just a new remote?
I know when a friend of mine bought a new toyota she said she didn't want the power door locks or alarm so the took it around back and removed something and that was it.
What does Ford remove or not install for power door locks?:dunnoThanks Dale

depends on thier mood...
I know they are good for making just one wiring harness..
if the actuators are already there, go get your switches & switch panels and I'm bettin' the pigtals for them are already in the doors..

I don't even want to install controls in cab,I just want to be able to use a remote to unlock doors.
I see the door lock actuators are there with wires connected but do I need a control unit?I know I need the new remote. Thanks Dale

It might be easier to achieve your objective in "baby steps". I would recommend getting the door locks operating with the doors switches. (Salvage yard door switch panels are cheap.) Once all that is functioning as it should, the next "baby step" would be to install a remote device.

If you try to do both the door locks and remote at the same time, it could turn into a troubleshooting PITA. "Why the hell ain't this thing working?" "Is it a door lock system problem or is it this P.O.S. remote?"
