I have been working on a low fuel pressue issue with my truck. I did verify the pressure with a gauge and it was only 20 psi. I figured that the pump was bad so I replaced it. Still only getting 20 psi. I then looked at the FPR. Found the O-Ring that seals the brass cup was all smashed and was not seating right. I got a new o-ring and I'm pretty sure I installed the internals wrong. I turned the Key an got like 90 psi. I took off the pressure gauge and put my in cab gauge back in and got 0 psi. Put the pressure gauge back on and got zero. Checked Fuse 19 the big Maxi 20 amp fuse for the fuel pump and it was fine. Checked for power at the fuel pump when the key is turned on and I get nothing.

I looked for a relay that sends power to the fuel pump, couldn't find one. Anyone know where this fuel pump relay would be, or what controls the fuel pump?

Does anyone have a manual that can look what is between fuse 19 and the fuel pump? What controls the fuel pump, a relay?

I know there is a relay in there somewhere. Normally if you turn the key on and let it sit, the fuel pump will run for 20 to 30 seconds and then turn off unless you start the engine. So there has to be a timed relay that turns the fuel pump off after that amount of time.
