No more UGLY holes and spot welds!

after two years of thinking how to do it, i finally jumped in and went to it.

i got tired of the ugly holes, spot welds, and overlaping sheet metal around the tube step mounts.

i took some 1/8" x 1 1/8" aluminum flat stock and cut it to shape, drilled holes to match up with the tube step holes, painted it, added 2 more LED lights for a total of 6, and whalla, it looks lots better than stock now.

now all i have to do, is the other side.

the canvas is alot bigger on big rig, mo' lights look mo' better.

i try to keep it just right on my "little rig"

i have plans for adding LED tail lights in the future and trying to figure out how to make some lights look good across the underside of my front bumper so it won't look to obvious.

i already had all the lights done before i joined, so i am not trying to copy anyone (and i know you didn't mean that bill) just wanted to dress up the underside alittle.

got plans for LED tail lights, and lights across the front bumper on the black shroud.

just kiddin, i looked at some of those site. looks like you can't use your steps with those covers, or did i miss something?

oh i know kevin, i would have done a search myself, but i had no idea what you would call that area of the truck.
