Nice few days in the woods again......
The dog and I went out to the place Wednesday and Thursday and had a ball. Just piddling around.......changed the oil and filters on the tractors and genset.......improved on some security stuff..........played with the ham radio.........and finally did some fishing in the pond. Its been several years since I threw a hook in. Didn't catch anything worth writing home about but I had fun and the pup would go nuts every time I hooked one lol.
Wednesday night the front blew through........wind was just howling through the woods which made the dog growl and bark. I got ticked....got out of bed.....took her out to see that nobody was there and while out there took the opportunity to relieve the old balder and look at the stars. Must of been quite a site........bald old fart in his boots and underware looking at stars and tryin not to pizz into the wind. lol
Thursday morning broke bright, clear and very crisp......got up, lit the heater, started the coffee and the dog and I took a short walk. Saw a couple of deer and lots of sign. Wished I had had my camera.
Anyway.........sometimes the simple things in life can put a smile on my face. lol
