seen it this morning.really gettin tired of the designers nowadays.as if the VW bus wasnt ugly as it was they made it worse.i cant stand the looks of anything past the 90s with the exception of the 7.3 super duties.they just keep getting boxier and uglier.

It's all electric so it could probably be as underpowered as the original.

;)Caught up to a VW "Hippie" (Flowers & All) bus, on a, not to steep hill, 2 lane highway awhile back. He was doing ALL HE Could.. @ maybe 20 mph.. He saw me come'n, pulled over some.. passed him.. with the 5r in tow, at about 55. :sly

HA! yeah for the shop I worked at in DeKalb we had one. And we would load a couple of bikes in the back to take to UPS. when I would hit the over pass that thing couldn't hit 35. I think it topped out at 55 down hill with wind at the back. Also carried a hammer with at all times after we couldn't get it to start in Cindy Crawford mom's house. Man that was embarrassing. But one sharp blow to the block and she would fire right up.

I like it. Not gonna buy one but looks cool. I'd love to have an old v dub camper bus with the pop top. Always liked them and the old bugs. Put a powerstroke in the back seat hahahaha:lmao

The Westphalia conversion. Very popular.
REAL popular with VW collectors now.

Yea I always search craigslist for them occassionally. But I wouldnt be able to pull a small trailer with my atv on it since the vans cant go up a slight incline haha.

:lmao I've had Many'an "Econo Box" do the Drafting thing too. I'll pass'm, they'll pull-in behind me (where I can't see'm). I'd bet bigrigr would attest to that too......:lmao:lmao
